After months of dedicated preparation and hard work by the entire AiR Zvjezdane staze team, the local community and our dedicated supporters, the moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. We are delighted to welcome the very first artists in residence for the first edition of the Zvjezdane staze artistic residency. From July 3 to September 30, 2024, this pioneering event will take place alongside the 12th edition of VaClaF: Vareš Classic Festival, under the uplifting motto “Dreams to Come True”. For the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a project under the auspices of the European Union's “Culture Moves Europe” program will be presented. Out of 46 applicants from 24 countries, five exceptional artists were selected through an international call to take part in our program: the composer Marta Kowalczuk (Poland), the composer and pianist Manuel Pessoa de Lima (Brazil), the pianist and composer Roman Stolyar (Russia), the writer and dramaturge Minja Jovičin (Serbia) and the composer Damjan Jovičin (Serbia).

Join us for a wonderful evening in a warm and inviting atmosphere! As part of this event, you will have the opportunity to meet and talk with this year's Zvjezdane staze artists: Composer Marta Kowalczuk from Poland, composer and pianist Manuel Pessoa de Lima from Brazil, pianist and composer Roman Stolyar from Russia, writer and playwright Minja Jovičin from Serbia and composer Damjan Jovičin from Serbia.

In addition to the artistic introductions, you will be treated to a range of Bosnian culinary delights prepared by the amazing Nadža Ibrišimović. Her dishes, rooted in tradition and prepared with locally sourced ingredients, offer a true taste of the region's rich gastronomic heritage.
